How is a star born

A intersteller cloud forms by gathering dust particles, hydrogen and helium gas molecules present in the intersteller space. Then they start compressing. As a result of compression heating of intersteller cloud takes place. When the core temperature becomes about 10^7, the fusion of hydrogen atom takes place with the release of huge amount of energy. This huge amount of energy keeps the star shining for millions of years.
